Civilcraft 0.8.1
Browser edition of civilcraft 0.8.1 (a fix release for 0.8). The desktop app is CadCraft Studio: https://github.com/getcadcraft/studio/releases/tag/studio-v0.8.1. Unzip, open index.html's folder with any web server, or use it live at https://getcadcraft.com/use. SHA-256 is in the SHA256SUMS file below.

Install
- Browser edition: unzip
civilcraft-browser-edition-v0.8.0.ziponto any web server (or runpython3 -m http.server 8000inside it) and open it. INSTALL.md in the folder has the rest. - Desktop: install CadCraft Studio for Windows or Linux.
What's in 0.8
- Drop a storm on your grading and watch the water flow, pond and overtop.
- Earthwork balancer and best route across the terrain.
- Address to site reads open parcel, building, zoning, soil and flood files you download yourself.
- Corridors, spirals and the landscape workspace carry on from 0.7.
Said plainly: fetching those files for you waits on the privacy wording and a real run on each source.
Notices
- Nothing in 0.8 is code-signed; code signing and the Microsoft Store come in 0.8. This browser edition needs no installer; CadCraft Studio's installers are not signed yet. Windows SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC": choose More info, then Run anyway; the publisher shows as unknown. The Microsoft Store package is built but not in the Store yet, and the website's Windows package (MSIX) is not published: it is never published unsigned. Check the SHA-256 first.
- iPad, iPhone and Google Play moved to 0.8 with the signing. There is no iPad or iPhone build yet, and nothing is in an app store.
- Português (Portugal) (new), Português (Brasil), Español (México) and Bahasa Indonesia in Settings › General › Language are machine-made drafts, not yet reviewed by a native speaker.
- Updates: CadCraft Studio 0.8 checks getcadcraft.com for a newer version once a day (Settings › Updates) and always asks before installing; it installs only packages signed with CadCraft's update key. A copy older than 0.7 can't update itself: install 0.8 once from this page or the download page.

What's in 0.7
CivilCraft 0.7 adds a Power lines workspace: overhead lines and underground cables with your own libraries of conductors, cables, poles and equipment, sag and tension under your load cases, clearance and strength checks, stringing tables, quantities, sheets, a report and GIS out. It is a design aid: no country's standard is built in (the load cases, limits and clearances are yours), your work is saved in CadCraft's own open formats, and the .DON study file import and export is an extra that has not been opened in the program that reads it. A Landscape workspace: a plant list of about 420 species (CC0), planting plans and a plant schedule (CSV, XLSX, or sent to TakeoffCraft to price), landscape grading, paving, walls and steps checked against limits you set, an irrigation calculation aid (not a design certification), landscape sheets, freeform objects and landscape IFC. Building masses with zoning limits you type (CivilCraft has no zoning code in it), sun hours on every wall, masses as IFC and Develop in BimCraft. Clothoid spirals in the PI table, read and written in LandXML, and corridors built from parts on each side. USD from the 3D view, and more tools for your own AI assistant (the app contains no AI). Every app gets unit lists, a Compact layout, panels that tidy away, dialogs that move and two new workspace layouts (Ribbon and project browser, Toolbox and info box), in the browser and in CadCraft Studio. Português (Portugal) is new; it, Português (Brasil), Español (México) and Bahasa Indonesia are machine-made drafts, not yet reviewed.

What's in 0.6
Arcs in feature lines, with ends at different elevations, followed by offsets, profiles, surfaces and 3D and kept in LandXML, DXF and DWG. Corridor targets: the edge of pavement or shoulder follows a feature line or another corridor's line in width or elevation. A structure builder for pipe-network structures (round or rectangular, with wall, slab, sump, frame and cover), saved to the library. Vehicle swept paths with up to three trailers, forward or reversing, with the swept outline, wheel paths and steering and articulation checks (the starting vehicles are placeholders: set your own design vehicle). A second round adds sanitary design flows (peak flow by Harmon or Babbitt plus infiltration, how full and how fast each pipe runs, and pipe sizing, checked against a published design sheet) and Earthwork › Send to TakeoffCraft. Type a calculation wherever a length is typed. Every app gets Show bars, Reset the layout, a toolbar menu, an interface size and pen and touch. Spanish (es-MX) and, new, Bahasa Indonesia are machine-made drafts, not yet reviewed.

Install
- Windows 10 or 11: run
CivilCraft-0.4-setup.exe. It installs for your user only, with no administrator rights. - Linux (Debian, Ubuntu):

What's in 0.4
Cross sections with section sheets and mass haul; feature lines; plan and profile sheets; superelevation; description keys and line codes. Storm drainage (rational method, Manning sizing, HGL), parcels with draft legal descriptions, traverses (compass rule) and staking reports. Open DWG and DXF drawings as linework for the surface. Edit one survey point, lasso selection, grid shift files (NADCON5, NTv2), KML and KMZ in and out, labels from GIS attributes. GIS and map layers in 3D, drive along an alignment, sun light. Works by touch, recovers unsaved work, draft Spanish (Mexico) not yet reviewed.
