CadCraft Studio 0.8.1 is a fix release for 0.8, for Windows (installer and portable zip), macOS (.dmg), Linux (.deb and AppImage) and Android. The Windows installers and the macOS build are unsigned (SmartScreen: More info › Run anyway; macOS: right-click › Open). Links and checksums: https://getcadcraft.com/download. Studio 0.8 installs are offered it under Settings › Updates.
- BimCraft ribbon: Import CAD, Image and Project Units now work in the Ribbon + Project browser layout, and so do Move, Align, Level, Phases and Materials.
- CadCraft: Properties shows 12'-6" again in feet-and-inches drawings; the crosshair no longer shows behind pop-ups.
- DWG classes section read correctly (cadcraft#5), in five apps.
- Language switching at run time in Studio and the packed editions (before: English only). Not yet tested on every platform: tell us if it does not change.
- PartCraft full-screen cursor freeze: hover-pick throttled (cause not confirmed with the reporter).
- Tablets in portrait: the canvas gets the spare height; sheets mode at 760 px or less.
Said plainly: Material Takeoff stays "Not built" in BimCraft's ribbon (no material-quantity list), and the iPad/iPhone build was not rebuilt. Full notes: https://getcadcraft.com/news
