Markupcraft 0.8.1
Browser edition of markupcraft 0.8.1 (a fix release for 0.8). The desktop app is CadCraft Studio: https://github.com/getcadcraft/studio/releases/tag/studio-v0.8.1. Unzip, open index.html's folder with any web server, or use it live at https://getcadcraft.com/use. SHA-256 is in the SHA256SUMS file below.

Install
- Browser edition: unzip
markupcraft-browser-edition-v0.8.0.ziponto any web server (or runpython3 -m http.server 8000inside it) and open it. INSTALL.md in the folder has the rest. - Desktop: install CadCraft Studio for Windows or Linux.
What's in 0.8
- A cloud becomes a task, goes to the right person or AI, and can close itself when the drawing or model really changes (a setting you turn on per project; off by default).
- What changed between revisions, in words.
- Voice notes pinned on the plan.
- Hand the package to CadCraft:
REDLINEturns the accepted markups into a revision.
Said plainly: the task loop is built and tested, not yet run with a real assistant.
Notices
- Nothing in 0.8 is code-signed; code signing and the Microsoft Store come in 0.8. This browser edition needs no installer; CadCraft Studio's installers are not signed yet. Windows SmartScreen shows "Windows protected your PC": choose More info, then Run anyway; the publisher shows as unknown. The Microsoft Store package is built but not in the Store yet, and the website's Windows package (MSIX) is not published: it is never published unsigned. Check the SHA-256 first.
- iPad, iPhone and Google Play moved to 0.8 with the signing. There is no iPad or iPhone build yet, and nothing is in an app store.
- Português (Portugal) (new), Português (Brasil), Español (México) and Bahasa Indonesia in Settings › General › Language are machine-made drafts, not yet reviewed by a native speaker.
- Updates: CadCraft Studio 0.8 checks getcadcraft.com for a newer version once a day (Settings › Updates) and always asks before installing; it installs only packages signed with CadCraft's update key. A copy older than 0.7 can't update itself: install 0.8 once from this page or the download page.

What's in 0.7
MarkupCraft 0.7 adds a Field tab for RFIs, submittals and daily logs. Click the sheet where an RFI or a submittal belongs and a pin marks the place; each record has its own number (RFI-0001, SUB-0001, LOG-0001), a title, text, a status, an assignee, a due date, a thread of replies and a list of attachment names. Filter by type, status, due date, sheet, text or Assigned to me; a waiting record past its due date is marked Overdue, in red, on the list and on its pin. CSV and BCF (each topic with a snapshot of its place on the sheet) follow the filters. Records are saved inside the PDF and need no network, and Merge joins the records of another copy of the same PDF in one undo step. Your own AI assistant, connected through CadCraft Studio, can set a markup's status, reply in a thread and export the Markups list, each change one undo step signed with the assistant's name (the app contains no AI). A new Ribbon menu style, and PDF review's menu bar gains a Review menu. Every app gets unit lists, a Compact layout, panels that tidy away, dialogs that move and two new workspace layouts (Ribbon and project browser, Toolbox and info box), in the browser and in CadCraft Studio. Português (Portugal) is new; it, Português (Brasil), Español (México) and Bahasa Indonesia are machine-made drafts, not yet reviewed.

What's in 0.6
MarkupCraft can change the PDF itself, as you asked on Discord: the Content tool (B) selects the page's own lines, pictures and text, then moves, resizes, recolors or deletes them, edits a line's points and curves, changes the words of a line of text in its own font, replaces a picture with a PNG or JPEG, and Put into the page turns drawn markups into page content; each change is one undo step, saved into the copy you download, and what you didn't touch stays byte for byte the same. Encrypted and signed PDFs are left alone, and the tool says why. Paste a picture from the clipboard as a picture markup, and type a calculation in Calibrate. Not built yet: turning page objects to any angle, changing text in a font with no width tables (such as Times), and text that reflows; edited copies have not been opened in Acrobat yet. Every app gets Show bars, Reset the layout, a toolbar menu, an interface size and pen and touch. Spanish (es-MX) and, new, Bahasa Indonesia are machine-made drafts, not yet reviewed.

Install
- Windows 10 or 11: run
MarkupCraft-0.4-setup.exe. It installs for your user only, with no administrator rights. - Linux (Debian, Ubuntu):

chmod +x MarkupCraft-0.4-x86_64.AppImage, then run it. - Browser: unzip

What's in 0.4
Print with markups (Ctrl+P) and a Pages menu: rotate, move, insert, delete and extract pages, with markups moving along. Slip-sheet a revised set, find text across sheets (Ctrl+F), save a flattened copy, and recover your work after a crash. Layers, arcs and angles, pictures and signatures, area cut-outs, spaces, sketch to scale, photos on markups, sheet links and bookmarks. Compare by changed lines or a whole set, a live legend, custom columns, XLSX and PDF summaries, BCF import. Open in TakeoffCraft. Better touch. Every word in language files, with a draft Spanish (Mexico) translation not yet reviewed.
