Description

The backend error monitoring tutorial uses a sample Django application, which hasn't been updated in over 4 years. The sample app is now out of date and no longer works.

Suggested Solution

Update the sample django app so that it works and so that users can run through the steps in the tutorial without running into errors. This will include upgrading dependencies, etc. Note that the app should also work with the frontend tutorial app (which was recently updated last year).

Some parts of the tutorial may need to be updated to reflect the existing product, but we will do that at a later stage after we get the sample app working.
