You should probably open a feature discussion. In particular what about similar commands for new windows and new splits? Should they be part of a single parameterized action or should there be separate actions? |

This is one of the few things I still miss from iTerm2.
I spend most of my day hopping between servers, and I’d love to have shortcuts like:
Right now I can create a new tab from a keybind, but I can’t tell that tab to run a command. The only alternative is using global startup commands or shell workarounds, neither of which feels quite right.
A “new tab and run command” action would be incredibly useful for anyone managing multiple servers.
