FWIW, it doesn’t ask you to choose the update every time you open Ghostty. What actually happens is that the dialog appears when Ghostty starts, but it opens in the background, so you never respond to it while the process is running. Try bringing the dialog to the foreground and answering it before you close the Ghostty — it should not appear again. This is the behavior in Ghostty 1.3.1 |

Issue Description
every single time i open ghostty the 'check for updates' dialog box shows up.
this is when i am running the latest version ghostty that i just downloaded.
Expected Behavior
The 'check for updates' dialog should not show up each time ghostty is opened
