The URL specified for JGit, specifically on the page git-scm.com/book/cs/v2/Appendix-B:-Embedding-Git-in-your-Applications-JGit at http://www.eclipse.org/jgit. or https://www.eclipse.org/jgit. is no longer correct. I cannot find the correct location.

Maybe the problem is that you included the trailing . in the URL; If you skip it, you get to a nice page that even includes a link to a search page (if you don't skip the trailing ., you get to a slightly different page; That page also has a link to the search page, labeled "Search our site"):

I cannot find the correct location.

Apart from surprising me greatly that you could not find the correct location, given that it was quite straight-forward for me to perform above-mentioned steps to find the correct location, that's not the only problem of this ticket. You also failed to realize that you opened the ticket in the wrong repository, seeing as the ProGit book, which your bug report is about, after all, is maintained in a different repository than git-scm.com, as you can see when following the link that you unhelpfully marked as code instead of as a hyperlink:

Now, before you run off and open the same unhelpful ticket in that repository, you need to take a step back and notice that, although the page contents you looked at were in English, the URL clearly pointed to the Czech translation of the ProGit book (which happens to not have translated that page yet, obviously)! To find the correct page, i.e. the English one (assuming that you, as so many from your country, speak English and English only), you need to follow that link:

This link, by the way, helpfully beams you to the same page in the English version of the book, not back to the table of contents.

And when you follow the link on the lower left of that page, it will get you to the correct repository, the repository your bug report should have targeted in the first place: https://github.com/progit/progit2

Now, I want you to take another step back before you run off and open the same ticket there, and reflect about the nature of that project, that it is volunteer-driven, and that it depends on contributions from people like you, contributions that avoid expecting others to perform the work that you could easily perform yourself.

In other words, I would like to encourage you to open a Pull Request instead of a ticket, to fix the problem you saw.
