It’s nearly three weeks and I haven’t seen any response to the issue or pull request.

I assume that they are working on UX enhancements by combining it with Co-Pilot in VS Code.

3 weeks without commits, is not a long enough time to ask whether an OSS project with 47k+ stars is still active or not! ^^
It takes a lot of (free) time to review and validate PRs, specially nowadays, in this era of AI generated content in PRs.

I'm sure @localden is cooking something great for us, to let's be patient ^^ 🙏🏾

That’s the question.

This popular project has been quiet for a while now.

I review many issues and pull requests and almost all haven’t even received an "official" (people with permission to merge) review or comment.

I’ve never seen such a situation for an "active" project so I’m curious what’s happening.

Apparently, others are also confused.

Popular project, sure, and I understand the eager to have more features delivered/merged (I am too to be honest ^^).
But please have a look at the contributors list, and you'll quickly understand that the core "team" behind, is pretty small right now...

Hey folks - thanks for your patience. The project is very much active but there are only two people working on it 😂 As you can imagine, it's a bit hard to scale since Spec Kit is not the only thing we do in our day-to-day work at Microsoft/GitHub.

We've been a bit busy with GitHub Universe and Microsoft Ignite conferences, but now back at triaging issues and pull requests and cooking up Spec Kit V2, which will be out next week.
