Quick question more on how to use / workflow for an existing project

Hi,

I was wondering can spec kit be used on an existing project?

Say I had an existing project that already had some documentation or basic docs on existing features, could those be referenced as part of the "build" or "plan" part to give extra context to an existing project.

Say with the existing project above, could we then ask for new features, maybe starting with the plan part and moving to tasks?

Just wondering how to do this as I think this kit sounds useful for existing projects as well as green field ones.
