Extending

If you want to extend PlusSharp, you can use these 2 methods.

Method 1 - Create an issue

If you want a feature to officially be in the next PlusSharp release, feel free to open an issue with the suggestion tag. Your feature might be in the next release.

Method 2 - Clone PlusSharp

If you can't ask for a feature (e.g. if you want to make extensions for your company or for a Unity Editor fork), then you can clone this GitHub repo.

IMPORTANT: You need to know C# scripting for Unity!

Linux

  1. Open a terminal.
  2. Install git using your package manager.
  • For Debian/Ubuntu, run sudo apt-get install git.
  • For Fedora, run sudo dnf install git.
  • For Arch, run sudo pacman -S git.
  • For OpenSUSE, run sudo zypper install git.
  • Some distros have it built in. To check, type git --version.
  1. Run git clone https://github.com/githubcatw/PlusSharp.git ps. The PlusSharp repo will be cloned into the ps folder.

Windows/macOS

  1. Install Git from here.
  1. Open a command prompt.
  2. Run git clone https://github.com/githubcatw/PlusSharp.git ps. The PlusSharp repo will be cloned into the ps folder.

To check, type type ps\README.md (Windows) or cat ps/README.md (Linux, macOS)
