Breaking Changes
Type BillingRequestPaymentRequest.Amount as int? in responses
The Amount property on the BillingRequestPaymentRequest class returned as part of a BillingRequest was typed as string in earlier versions. The API always returns this value as an integer in minor units (e.g. 19269 for 192.69 in GBP), so it is now typed as int?, consistent with other amount properties.
This is a breaking change: code that reads BillingRequest.PaymentRequest.Amount as a string needs to be updated to use the integer value.
Creating a billing request is unaffected: BillingRequestCreateRequest.PaymentRequest.Amount was already int?.
Type enum properties as enums instead of strings
Some properties that the API schema defines as enums were typed as string in earlier versions, to avoid breaking backwards compatibility when a bug in v1 typing was fixed. These special cases have been removed, so these properties now use their generated enum types (for example BillingRequest.Status, Subscription.Status, Block.BlockType, Mandate.ConsentType).
This is a breaking change: code that compares these properties to string literals, or assigns strings to them, needs to be updated to use the enum values instead.
Affected properties: BankAuthorisation.AuthorisationType, BillingRequest.Status, BillingRequestAction (InstitutionGuessStatus, Status, Type), BillingRequestActionBankAuthorisation (Adapter, AuthorisationType), Block (BlockType, ReasonType), CustomerNotification (ActionTaken, Type), Institution.Status, Mandate.ConsentType, MandateImportEntry.RecordType, Subscription.Status, and the equivalent properties on the BillingRequestWithAction* types.
