@artm We do not manage the installation, that is done by VS Code itself You can file an issue upstream at itself https://github.com/microsoft/vscode/issues.

It's possible this is related to the WSL environment you are developing in (from the last screenshot you can see it is enabled on `WSL: Ubuntu-20.04). They have some guidance related to managing extensions in wsl:
