In which task and step of the codelab can this issue be found?

Describe the problem
on the entire page when I use the same code that is provided in the lab I get 61 errors and cant launch the app even following the steps exactly as they are written.

Steps to reproduce?

1. Go to... the link
2. Click on... any code provided and paste it into the tip time android studio
3. See error... a bunch of erros

Versions
Android Studio version: 21021.2.1
API version of the emulator: pixel 5 API 30
