I agree that a Google doc seems like the best option, all things considered. It has the advantage of allowing comments and suggestions in addition to direct edits, which could prove useful. |

Hi, I wanted to start a discussion about where to share steering committee agenda documents.
Some options to consider.
Here in a "discussion" on github.
Pros: it already exists, anyone can contribute.
Cons: Not really conducive to forming a cohesive document, no concurrent editing.
a google docs document
Pros: easy to setup, can allow either limited or broad contribution, easy concurrent editing.
Cons: Not directly connected to github, need to figure out a discoverability plan.
A github "wiki" page.
Pros: pretty easy to setup, directly connected to repo, can be "public editable" or "private editable"
Cons: Only way it's "private editable" is if user has push access. Concurrent live editing support not great.
Other?
I think 2) is the most attractive option, and we can link to the google doc from the documentation and advertisement of the steering committee online location/time, which should be accessible on the repo. What do others think?
