GSD2 & Claude Code Integration for Reliable "Hands-Off" Autonomy

How to setup both GSD2 and Claude Code to have them work well together? I've tried setting my claude settings.local.json file to use editsEnabled and auto permission modes but still some commands get stuck (e.g. git add is also not working on its own). Any general setup advise to enable autonomous use? (apart from dangerouslySkipPermissions - which I haven't tried yet but also don't want to go towards)
