Filter curves can be downloaded from the SVO Filter Profile Service again, and the curves MOSFiT ships are included in the installed package.

Fixed

  • The SVO Filter Profile Service URL. Downloads used the retired path /svo/theory/fps3/fps.php, which no longer resolves, so any band that was not already cached failed. They now use http://svo2.cab.inta-csic.es/theory/fps/fps.php. The error text no longer says a cached filter will be used when none is on disk.

Changed

  • Palomar/ZTF g, r, and i curves are bundled with the package instead of fetched from SVO while the Docker image builds. Hatch lists the filter .area, .dat, and .xml files as build artifacts, so a wheel or sdist install includes them and does not have to download every band at runtime.
