Step6: run testing file on the terminal #sh test.sh Step7: get the execution time. #cat statime.txt endtime.txt 4. Here's sysbench Testing Steps. We repeat these steps three times for each machine, then get more precise data. Step1: install Docker $sudo apt-get update $curl -fsSL https://download.docker.com/linux/ubuntu/gpg | sudo apt-key add - $sudo apt-get install \ apt-transport-https \ ca-certificates \ curl \ software-properties-common $sudo add-apt-repository \ "deb [arch=amd64] https://download.docker.com/linux/ubuntu \ $(lsb_release -cs) \ stable" $sudo apt-get update $sudo apt-get install docker-ce Step2: pull the testing image from our docker hub, since we already installed the command that we need. $sudo docker pull h3753880/empty6 Step3: run testing image $sudo docker run -it h3753880/empty6 Step4: run cpu performance command and get execution time. #sysbench --test=cpu --cpu-max-prime=20000 run Step5: run File I/O performance command and get the File I/O performance. #sysbench --test=fileio --file-total-size=1G prepare #sysbench --test=fileio --file-total-size=1G --file-test-mode=rndrw --init-rng=on --max-time=180 --max-requests=0 run Step6: clean test files #sysbench --test=fileio --file-total-size=1G clean 5.
