Maintainer

docxi is maintained by Hammad Maqbool at Phaedra Solutions. The gem on RubyGems and the GitHub repository belong to the hammad417 account.

History

• 2015: Timur Gabdrakipov writes docxer, a Ruby gem for generating .docx files, released under the MIT license.
• 2016: docxer is renamed to docxi, adapted and published as docxi 0.0.1, 0.0.2 and 0.0.6. The gemspec of those releases lists Irfan Babar as the author.
• 2026: docxi 0.1.0 brings the gem up to date with current Ruby, Rails and rubyzip without changing the documents it generates.

Contributors

The git history records commits by Hammad Maqbool. It also records commits from 2016 whose author name was stored as "=". The LICENSE file keeps Timur Gabdrakipov's original copyright notice, as the MIT license requires.
