Reminders that actually fire. Alarms are restored after reboot, app update, timezone change, and process start. If the phone was off when one was due, it pins as soon as the device comes back.
Scheduled pins. When a reminder is due, the note stays pinned in the shade until you unpin it.
Edit from the notification. Tap a pinned or reminder notification to open that note. Works even if the app is already in the background.
Quick-add in the shade. The pinned-notes summary has New note / New list actions. Optional persistent shortcut: Settings → Notifications → Quick-add notification.
Folders. Create folders like Recipes, Travel, Movies and assign one when you save a note (label sheet). Browse them on the Labels tab.
Dismissable backup banner. Tap × to hide it until the next edit. It no longer covers the + menu.
Lock-screen visibility. Pinned notes and reminders show on the lock screen. Android no longer supports home-screen widgets on the lock screen — Settings explains this.
Reminder troubleshooting. Settings → Notifications has one-tap Exact alarms and App battery settings — the two most common reasons reminders fail on some phones.

Web / laptop dashboard — still a separate project.
Test plan
Set a reminder a minute ahead, lock the phone, confirm the heads-up and that the note stays pinned.
Reboot with a future reminder set; confirm it still fires.
Tap a pinned notification and confirm it opens that note.
Enable Quick-add in Settings and create a note from the shade.
Assign a folder on a link note and find it on the Labels tab.
Dismiss the backup banner with × and confirm the + menu is fully visible.
