Multi layered stations

Another long shot for sure!

With more and more stations being above and below ground, it might be a good idea to implement a rendering based on the 'layer' tag in OSM, much like: https://openlevelup.net/?l=1#18/51.21629/4.42098

At the moment, a lot of clutter could be present if all railway features were tagged. Signals, platforms and track might overlap, making it hard to distinguish features.

Since layer is added to bridges and tunnels as well, I think that the level should be considered in that case. I think that could be done with level similarly to how JOSM or iD hadles editing objects by the value of the given key - a popup or something being shown in map range, where a railway object has a level key
