👋 Welcome — this is the home for everything that isn't a bug report or a feature spec.

React Debugger is a Chrome DevTools panel that combines Timeline, Performance, Memory, Side Effects, Redux, CLS, and AI-powered analysis into a single tab. We're a small project trying to do one thing well: make React debugging not require switching between four tools.

What we're working on right now

• v2.0.3 (current) — hybrid render snapshot architecture, bippy-aligned didFiberRender. See CHANGELOG.md.
• MCP server v1 — turning the extension into something LLM coding agents (Claude Desktop, opencode, Cursor) can call programmatically. In active spec phase — see openspec/changes/mcp-server-v1/. First contributor PRs already landing.
• 90-day growth campaign — Week 1 (license + contributor on-ramp) shipped. See openspec/changes/growth-and-contributor-attraction/.

Contributing

We have good-first-issue items labeled with scope, file pointers, and acceptance criteria. Each issue's "How to claim" section explains the workflow. Read CONTRIBUTING.md first — it's the local-dev cheat sheet plus our review SLA (7 days).

• Tone: professional, friendly, and direct. Disagreement is welcome; rudeness is not.
