- Chart queries
- New
client.charts.query() and query_async() aggregate a project's events into a single chart result. They take a ChartQueryRequest (date range, filters including an event_type filter, and the query) and a required keyword-only project_id, and they return a ChartQueryResponse. Both models can be imported from honeyhive.models. The call is sent with the data plane API key, which needs project.event.get.
- Project-scoped dataset, datapoint, and experiment run operations
- Every
client.datasets, client.datapoints, and client.experiments run method (list, get, create, update, delete, add/remove datapoints, schema, results, comparisons, and their _async variants and aliases) accepts an optional keyword-only project_id. With project_id, the call targets that project and is sent with the data plane API key (data_plane_api_key / HH_DATA_PLANE_API_KEY).
datapoints.create_batch()
- New
client.datapoints.create_batch() and create_batch_async() create datapoints from events, optionally adding them to a dataset.
experiments.get_run_metrics()
- New
client.experiments.get_run_metrics() and get_run_metrics_async() return the event metrics of an experiment run, with optional dateRange and filters.
experiments.compare_run_events_async()
- New async variant of
compare_run_events().
Deprecated
- Dataset, datapoint, and experiment run calls without
project_id
- Calling these methods without
project_id still uses the project API key, but now emits a DeprecationWarning. These calls stop working in v2.0. Pass project_id and configure a data plane API key. evaluate() and run_experiment() do not emit this warning.
Compatibility
- Higher minimums for optional integration extras
- The Claude Agent SDK extras (
openinference-claude-agent-sdk, all-openinference) now require claude-agent-sdk>=0.2.121. The aws-strands extra now requires strands-agents>=1.48.0. If you pin either package below these versions, raise the pin.
