SUPER SUPER to switch back to a previous workspace

I have double super in tmux to switch back to a previous workspace, but wanted to have it in hyprland too, however the follow keymap does not work:

bind = SUPER, Super_L, workspace, previous

[cprice11]

This isn't a total solution and I'd love to see if someone can replicate that behavior exactly, but this would get you part-way there.

bindr = SUPER, Super_L, submap, doublePress

submap = doublePress
bindr  = SUPER, Super_L, workspace, previous
bindr  = SUPER, Super_L, submap, reset
bind   = , escape,submap,reset
# bind  = , catchall, submap, reset
submap = reset

This should allow you to return to the previous workspace with a double press. However, an accidental single press will get you stuck in the submap until you press SUPER or escape.

I can't seem to get the catchall option to behave here. It seems like an ideal use case, but if I uncomment it, the normal functionality is interrupted. Even if it did work as expected, I believe it would still capture one keypress of input before the submap exits.
