"OnjuClaw" project with an async agentic backendserver and voice agent pipeline should also work with this hardware too? (OpenClaw gateway project from Justin Alvey a.k.a. justLV who made Onju-Voice)
#29
Slightly off-topic, but posting this here anyway since related to open-source voice assistant and it shows potential of what can be done with a private AI (similar to the upcoming Nexus1 AI Base Station from FutureProofHome implemened as a DIY solution):
FYI, Justin Alvey (a.k.a. justLV of Onju-Voice "fame") has published a new OpenClaw gateway agentic voice assistant project that he calls "OnjuClaw" which should work with this hardware and could be adopted to work with any voice hardware with a microphone and a speaker:
Be warned though! I suspect he had an LLM write the README for that project and has not yet proof-read it himself as not only is the repo confusignly named "onju-v2", more cconfusingly it calls that project "Onju Voice v2 (OnjuClaw)" in the REAME, and worse the README refers to it as upgraded version of onju-voice, even though it is technically not specifically made for his previous Onju-Voice hardware but can be used with any open-source voice assistant (including M5Stack ATOM Echo, the Home Assistant Voice Preview Edition, and this MiciMike drop-in replacement PCB).
