1.1.1 Tinder

Summary

Tinder is an app that uses a swipe yes or no to match people. If both parties swipe yes, they will be able to chat.

Cost

Tinder is free, but has micro-transactions, which gives you the ability to change your location, give someone a super like or undo a wrong swipe.

USP

Tinder is popular because of the quick and easy to use interface. Swiping becomes addicted.

Other

Tinder faces some criticism for being to superficial. Letting users judge each other based first on their photos. (There is a short bio users can fill out, but it's not the first someone sees). There is also a chance of catfishing and there is a large group of people just wanting to meet up for sex.

Brand Identity

Tinder wants to brand itself as the app to meet and find new people and focus on the quick and easy to use app. Large buttons, the pattern of swiping has been made popular by tinder.
