In this PR:

  • Update eslint and prettier modules
  • Update eslint config to eslint.config.js format
  • Remove unhelpful eslint rules that were going against the coding modality of the project
  • Fix eslint errors
  • Use eslint and prettier to format codebase
  • Add lint, prettier, and clean (both) scripts to root package.json

984 eslint problems (556 errors, 428 warnings) to 0
Eslint can now actually be used.
