[Feature] Fast Photo Flagging and Filtering Within Albums

I have searched the existing feature requests, both open and closed, to make sure this is not a duplicate request.

The feature

I would like to have a way to quickly flag and filter photos within an album in Immich. This would make it much easier to sort through large numbers of photos after events or trips.

Current Workflow:

1. Right now my workflow looks like this:
2. Download images from Immich
3. Open them in XnViewMP
4. Flag good photos in the catalog using only three keys:
   Space to flag/select
   Arrow keys to move forward and backward
5. Filter to show unflagged photos and delete them
6. Import the remaining photos back into Immich

Why This Matters

This workflow is extremely efficient because it focuses on flagging good photos instead of deleting bad ones. Using this approach I can review around 1000 photos per hour, compared to about 100 photos per hour when manually deleting unwanted images.

Suggested Feature

It would be very helpful if Immich allowed:

1. Flagging photos (similar to a quick “pick” or “keep” marker)
2. Filtering photos by flag status within a specific album (e.g., flagged / unflagged)

Related Existing Feature

The Favorites feature seems like it could potentially support this workflow, but currently:

1. There is no way to filter favorites or non-favorites within a specific album
2. It is not possible to mark a shared photo as a favorite if the logged-in user is not the asset owner

Adding album-level filtering and allowing favorites on shared assets could already enable a very similar workflow.

@bo0tzz the discussion you pointed to is mostly about shortcuts used to select photos. My feature request focuses more on a way to filter photos across an album by certain circumstances. Please reopen this feature.

Sorry, I was going to elaborate but then got pulled away. This seems like a relatively niche request, which is why I think it'd be best covered by the feature request I linked instead of implementing this specifically, so anyone can easily put together any custom workflow they might want.

Ok, I will provide some description under the topic you pointed to. Even though I think that filtering favorite photos within a specific album is relatively easy to implement (it would require just one additional DB select or filtering on the frontend).
