A cell of the result read as a string.
A cell that is NULL or does not exist leaves value as it was, so the array can hold a default.
native bool:MySQL_GetValue(row, const field[], value[], size = sizeof (value));| Parameter | Description | Default |
|---|---|---|
row |
The row, from 0. |
|
const field[] |
Name of the field. | |
value[] |
Array for the text. | |
size |
Size of the array. | sizeof (value) |
-
truewhen the text was written. -
falsewhen the cell is NULL or does not exist.
A longer cell is cut to fit the array. With the latin1 character set, the text is in the code page of the game, so accented letters arrive as the client shows them. A NULL cell leaves the array as it was, so an array read again for each row of a loop keeps the text of the row before unless it is emptied first.
- MySQL_GetValueInt: A cell of the result read as an integer.
- MySQL_GetRow: Read the cells of a row into variables in one call, field after field.
- MySQL_IsNull: Whether a cell of the result read is NULL.
