The YouTube content Monetization Modeler aims to predict YouTube revenue based on different factors affecting monetization, such as views, engagement rate, video length, content type, and ad types. Using linear regression, the model provides a way to forecast potential earnings for content creators or advertisers. This system can help YouTubers or advertisers make data-driven decisions by predicting revenue from various parameters, optimizing the performance of their content or ad campaigns.

Overview

This model predicts YouTube revenue (or ad view count) based on video features such as views, likes, comments, duration, etc., via a linear regression algorithm. The documentation outlines steps for data preparation, modeling, evaluation, and deployment.

  1. Data Preparation Data Collection: ->Collect datasets with features like video views, likes, dislikes, comments, video duration, upload date, and video category.

->The target variable is ad revenue or ad views, depending on the monetization goal.

Preprocessing: ->Handle missing values and clean the data.

->Encode categorical variables such as category using one-hot encoding.

->Convert date to derived features like upload year or day of week.

->Normalize continuous features if needed.
