Support for ML-focused professional GPUs (Arc B60, B60) #43
Description
The new Intel Arc B50 and B60 GPUs look like good choices for smaller ML workstation builds, with maybe half the performance of the A40, but much better value. I am personally quite interested in this card as well. However, while official support from the PyTorch extension is listed, it seems like JAX (ie. openXLA) isn't on the datasheet. Is official support planned/in the works?
The JAX ecosystem is very good and quite widely used for scientific computing and SciML, so I imagine JAX support would get a good amount of business from budget-conscious academics such as myself.
