[Bug Report] Changes to system default settings are no longer applied automatically

Initial scenario:
Until now, after adding the system default settings to git, changes and additions were automatically updated in the esd file.

Since version 2.14.0, however, you now have to explicitly re-export the system default settings via “Export system default settings” every time you make a change.
We have also noticed that if you are working in multiple browser tabs, the new system default settings are not recognized at all when you execute “Export system default settings.”

Thanks for raising this. A couple comments:

As far as I know this has always been the case. The IRIS System Default Settings page is not connected to the source control hooks, so editing system default settings through the management portal will not automatically export to the Git repository. We added the "Export system default settings" options as a workaround. Did you have another custom solution that was automatically exporting the settings before? I believe some users have set up a task to run every few minutes that will export the system default settings to Git.

We have also noticed that if you are working in multiple browser tabs, the new system default settings are not recognized at all when you execute “Export system default settings.”

I haven't been able to reproduce this issue so far. Could it be that the new system default settings were not saved, or were not marked as "deployable"?
