Documentation request: custom modifiers (-DNoLock, -DNoTransaction, -DNoMapping, .etc)

I haven't been able to find documentation for install/load modifiers such as -DNoLock=1, -DNoTransaction=1, and -DNoMapping=1 (apologies if that's not the correct term for them).

Our team has shipped IPM modules where we instruct customers to use some of these flags to work around issues we've encountered (some of which may already be fixed in newer IPM versions). It would be helpful to understand the full impact of each flag, and to have them documented in an official reference.
