Please raise an issue for this, the settings order should be consistent across page reloads
This is already supported, you can edit parameters straight from the parametric table

Hi, since a few weeks I´m testing inventree (1.2.3). In general it feels perfect for electronic parts and pcba´s with the right set of features! (thank you!). In parallel I try to move from altium to kicad. So my goal is to get a inventree system for electronic parts and a kicad lib in once. Furthermore I sometimes need the assembly / manufcaturing tool. During manufacturing the tracking is very important.
I like to share my first impressions during the last weeks and place some question of processing tasks in inventree. I hope you will feedback me in some of these points. So forgive me to put it in one "issue".
[Question] Plugin Settings => Can Plugin settings be sorted? Split in categories? The visibility of individual settings can be hide?
Background: If you edit a plugin setting the settings list is sometimes (or always?) reordered (latest edited value comes more to top of the list) ? Additionally grouping and hiding settings (for internal value memory) will be fine to keep it more userfrindly.
[FR] Part Parametric Overview => Celluar parameter editing will be a highlight.
[Bug]Part Parametric Overview => Only showing categorie Parameters in Parametric View and not all Parameters (issue allready opened just for info)
[Info] Keep Inventree working with http:// in private networks. Even with Caddy and internal certifacation and installing certificates in windows it´s not possible to use the kicad http plugin. Cause Kicad (Plugin) seems to not trust / see the installed caddy certificate on windows. => I gave up finally and went back to http:// which works fine. So it´s needed if you don´t want an official https certifcate for your server.
[FR]In Purchase Order => Line Items => there is no column (not even optional) to display the required Stock (requested by builds). So by adjusting the amount of ordered parts you have to go in every part again and again to check if your ordered items are equal or greater than the "missing / needed" QTY. This is hard cause you will first go into the supplier part and from there to the part itself to see the "needed/open QTY".
[FR / Question]Purchase Order => Receiving Line Items. How do you handle quick and efficent "Receiving Items with Labeling"?
Example: Receiving medium order from mouser with > 50 different parts. I take one part out of the box, hold in my hand, and check the line item => Putting the Parts in another Box for "Received Items checked" Parts. After all items are checked as received and moved in an other box => going to stock items or in received parts and printing label by label.
With the Zebra Printing Plugin I´m only able to print max 2 labels at the same time. Each time I check the parts I have to go to "print => print label => Select Template => Select printer => Print" => Deselect the 2 items => Select next two Items and again "print => print label => Select Template => Select printer => Print". This loop is hard and I think it can be reduced by one or all combinations of:
A) Setting up a default label and printer for stock items. So you don´t have to setup on each print.
B) Direct button for Print Labels (using seetings A) for checked Items
BTW: I allready opend and issue for Zebra label plugin printing multiple Items. Maybe it´s only me who can only print about 2 labels securly without "process abort".
C) Ideally and prefered there will be a checkbox in the "Line Items Sections" for enabeling "Print Stock Label after Receiving Stock".
So if you have the Part out of the mousers box in your hand and say "Received" you can take the label out of the printer and label it. No need to take each part a second run for labeling.
[Bug / FR] Purchase Order => Receiving Stock. You need to enable the Batchcode for each position otherwise no batch code is added. Here a simple option for "enabling batchcode per default" will be nice. Similar to the Location which is always active. BTW: Enabling Batchcode only loads ones the Batch-Code-Template. After hiding Batchcode and reenabling the Batch-Code-Template is not shown anymore. It´s empty.
[Question] Parts (specially Assemblys with BOMS). Is there an option for enableling price history like ist possible for stock history?
[Question] Assembly Parts shows a price range like 30 to 50 Euro. Is there a way to enter a QTY to quickly check the price for the needed QTY? This will be great. The Price ranges are to big for doing a calculation. Checking each BOM position by hand is hard. Sure, I have all the electronics parts with supplier price breaks (up to date).
[Question / FR / Bug] Sales Order => When adding a line item and entering the quantity the price is shown in context to the price breaks (taken from the part). When editing the part quantity of the line item there is just a "!" shown at the price field, but no option to update the price regarding the price breaks of the part
[Question / FR] Manual Stock take => How do you do?
When I´ll go to the stock (labeled with stock label) and take a few parts out - can I scan the part in a kind of temporary list and enter qty => scan next and do it in a loop. When finished I can clik on "remove stock" and enter a note. Just something I imagine. What is the best way to handle such "process"?
[Question / FR / Bug] Build Orders => If some items are taken from another location then the default / primary source. "No stock available" is shown in red. Does it makes sense to show only the overall stock independent from source location? Or overall stock and in brackets the source location stock?
In my case I have some parts in "PRODUCTION" location and some parts from "LAB" location. If production has less parts I´ll choose from LAB.
