Move to flexbox for vertical layout areas

I just realized there is no reason we can't use Flexbox for the vertical layout of the header/content/footer. It would make sizing much easier and cleaner, and remove the need to do silly things like <content has-header='true>

Why did you guys decide against this? Flexbox layouts are great! I'd think that it also hurts the ability to do this: #220

I do have a branch out for it. The problem is with animations. It's hard to animate flexbox areas in and out without going back to the absolute positioning system during the animation. It's not impossible, and it would make the markup a lot cleaner (no more has-header or any of that), but adds complexity for animations.

I'll leave this open as we explore it, maybe we can come up with a solution here since it really is better if we can make it work.

Flexbox is good for aligning content within the view, but not for the layout of the entire page.
