On https://boot.ipxe.org/, one can download ipxe.efi and snponly.efi for x86_64. It would be nice if snp.efi was also available there.

I know that I can build it myself (and I've already done that), but it would be easier if there's an existing binary.

That is normally not a binary that is recommended to be used, most of the time if you don't want native drivers you are better of using snponly.

For debugging purposes we do sometimes ask for snp.efi to be tested.
But what is the actuall case where you want snp, instead of snponly?

I want to have ipxe on a USB drive and have it boot a file via HTTP.

I can't use snponly, because ipxe was not booted over the network.
I can't use the normal ipxe.efi because it just hangs after reading the autoexec.ipxe (at least on this specific device, I guess it works on others).

Yes, so the hang should be fixed, have you tried the latest ipxe.efi (built it yourself?)

Oh, it works when I build it on the current master (c8f088d4e11a1dedda4829c4be1bb1b14e9da016).

Still, it takes quite some time before the startup banner appears, so it might be useful to have a snp.efi.
