The document is currently known as IAP for Interoperable Authentication Protocol, or maybe Process. Names of previous incarnations were SSO (Single Sign On) and IVOA-IAM (Interoperable Authentication Management).

Discussions at the College Park Interop suggested a more popular (also memorable and informative) name might be "Authentication in the VO", with shortname AuthVO.

If we change this, it should be done sooner rather than later to minimise confusion. Please post opinions under this Issue, but if this still seems to be the consensus by the end of next week (13 June) I will change the document name then.

A soon as you shorten Authentication to Auth there is potential confusion with Authorization (hence the AAI acronym having two A's). Here the scope might just be authentication and identity, but in the details "scopes" in tokens tred into the other A a bit.
