GETTING STARTED WITH LLAMAS

To use LLAMAS, you will need to install a few dependencies first.

  1. You will need a licensed install of MATLAB 2021a or newer, in addition to the MATLAB signal processing toolbox.

  2. You will also need LabStreamingLayer (LSL), as well as the MATLAB bindings for LSL. Please refer to those pages for direction on how to install them.

  3. You will also need to install PsychToolbox. If this is not possible, it can be avoided by commenting out all references to Psychtoolbox and PsychportAudio from the EEG_LLAMAS.mlapp file. Core LLAMAS functionality, such as data collection, visualization, and artifact removal will remain intact, but you will need to find a different solution for presenting visual/audio stimuli.

To install LLAMAS, simply clone/download the main branch from Github and add it and its subfolders to your MATLAB path. You should be able to launch it by entering

>> EEG_LLAMAS

into your MATLAB command window.
