EEG-LLAMAS is MATLAB based project to enable researchers to remove ballistocardiogram (BCG) artifacts in real time during EEG-fMRI experiments, and to simultaneously conduct neurofeedback experiments.

It is under development by Joshua Levitt of the Lewis Lab at Boston University/MIT. For inquiries, please contact him at jalevitt@bu.edu

It is dependent upon Labstreaminglayer, and on pyschtoolbox.

This Wiki is intended to give a basic introduction to how to install and use LLAMAS to conduct recordings, remove artifacts, and implement neurofeedback

Sections:

  1. Getting Started

  2. Interface

  3. Conducting a recording

  4. LLAMAS data structure

  5. Creating neurofeedback protocols

Recent Updates:

6/6/23 - We have added the Kalman_cwl function in the postprocesing folder, which is an adaptation of the Kalman filter for use with a BrainProducts carbon wire loop cap, without the need for a reference layer. Initial results are very promising, but we have not validated this method as extensively as the Kalman_chunk method, so please use at your own risk.
