retain existing computer name during Setup Manager

Many years ago, a feature within the Casper Imaging.app enabled users to preserve the current name of a computer by running a query against the Jamf Pro database and displaying it in the Computer Name field. Users could also overwrite it with a new name if they needed to. I believe this existed during the days of Mac OS X 10.12 Sierra. Another side bonus was knowing at a glance if the computer already had a record in Jamf Pro or not.

It was definitely a useful feature when wiping/re-enrolling lab computers twice a year since they were already labeled and such.

we are avoiding features that would require using the Jamf API as there is no way to secure transmit the API credentials to the Setup Manager app. You can, of course, implement this logic in a custom policy script.
