Hello! Happy to hear you like the project! What exactly do you mean by "dimmed out", the color scheme? If so, the way to change the color scheme is to adjust the styling. If you just want to change the colors this is very simple since all colors are set by color variables that you can easily overwrite, see the color definition for reference and the customization guide for how to add custom CSS. The default dark scheme has a fully black background to take advantage of OLED/mLED displays and the text is gray because high contrast (e.g. with white) increases eye strain. By setting the color variables you can make it look however you want :) |

We've considered making the default dark theme use the same colors as GitHub's default dark theme so that it would better mirror the light theme Some history: Vivify started with having only Jannis's custom dark theme (which is still the dark theme) A while later I made a light theme based on GitHub's colors and we made that the default light theme for Vivify We don't intentionally have a "dimming effect" but maybe that could be part of the impression? |

I really appreciate all the work on this project! Recently installed and using it with Neovim. I noticed that the preview in the browser is dimmed out -- Is there a way to view it normally without the dimming effect? Would prefer not having to manually customize the styling if possible.
Example from the main README.md:
