mouse back button to go back?

back click anywhere in the terminal to go back to the previous dir would be very handy! and the same with the forward

I don't think ncurses supports side buttons (I'm assuming that's what you mean by back/forward button).

ncurses faq points to man curs_mouse, which talks about buttons 4 & 5 (but not beyond), which are very most usually the back and forwards side(/mouse-wheel left/right click) buttons, afair

You can try asking for a feature request in ncurses, sure. But there's not much nnn could do here, so closing for now.
