Bug Fixes
-
Retry button visibility: Fixed retry button not displaying properly for rejected chores in kiosk dashboard. Added CSS styling for rejected status.

v1.4.3 - Skip Claim for Assigned Chores
Improvement
Streamlined Workflow for Assigned Chores
Chores that are already assigned to someone no longer require the extra "Claim" step.
Before: Assigned chore → Click "Claim" → Click "Mark Done"
After: Assigned chore → Click "Mark Done" (auto-claims behind the scenes)
Changes:
- Assigned chores show "Mark Done" button directly
- "Claim" button only appears for unassigned (anyone can do) chores
- Works in both main app and kiosk dashboard cards
- The claim happens automatically when marking done
This makes it faster for kids to complete their assigned chores!

famdo/retry_chorewebsocket endpoint - Rejected chores now show status to other users (not just the person who claimed it)
How it works:
- Child claims and completes a chore
- Parent rejects it (needs to be done better)

v1.3.0 - Recurring Chores System
What's New
Recurring Chores System
This release adds a comprehensive recurring chores feature to help families manage ongoing tasks.
Recurrence Types:
- Always On - Chore automatically re-creates when the previous instance is approved (great for ongoing tasks like "Keep room clean")
- Daily - New instance created each day
- Weekly - New instance created each week
- Monthly - New instance created each month
Features:
- Overdue Penalty - Time-based chores can deduct points if not completed by the due date
- Max Queue Limit - Prevents pile-up by limiting how many instances can exist at once (default: 3)
- Visual Indicators - Recurring chores show a refresh icon badge
- Smart Filtering - Only actionable chore instances are shown (templates are hidden)
How It Works
When you create a recurring chore, FamDo creates a "template" that spawns "instances". Only instances appear in the chore list and can be completed. When an always-on chore is approved, a new instance is immediately created. Time-based chores create new instances on their schedule.
