Yes, absolutely. Since it runs on ESPHome, you can update it over-the-air via the ESPHome dashboard (if the device is added there) or using the command line. No need to open you Altherma unit for updates😅 |

Hi @nicx, I have some good news and some bad news... I've found and error in the OTA config (#16) that prevents OTA from working. The good news is that this is now fixed in release v1.0.3. The slightly inconvenient news is that you will need to install the updated firmware once through the web installer... After that, you will be able to se the status and update the firmware from Home Assistant:

Hi, is there a possibility to update the Firmware Over-The-Air? ESPHome itself could do that, what about esphome-altherma? I do not want to open my Altherma every time I want to update the module ;)
