Hey @Aldursil this is intentional - I revised this in the latest update to follow NetNewsWire's sync strategy. The goal was to fix some long standing issues with spotty connections, so it's no longer automatic. If you're in the app for 2 minutes, it will also automatically sync without refresh. |

When viewing articles in Capyreader and scrolling past them to mark them as read if you then go to the FreshRSS web view the articles you just marked as read are still present.
Steps to reproduce:
Current result: The articles you just marked as read in Capyreader are still unread in the web view.
Expected results: When you refresh the web view the articles you had marked as read in Capyread should also be marked as read in the FreshRSS web view.
If you do a full refresh from the main page within Capyreader and then refresh the FreshRSS web view the unread article counts are now the same as expected.
Capyreader 2026.05.1209 on a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with Android 16 and the March update.
FreshRSS Self-hosted version 1.29.0
