Downloads

Choose task-cli-Windows.exe, task-cli-macOS or task-cli-Linux below. On Linux/macOS run chmod +x task-cli-* before executing. Linux build targets the current GitHub Ubuntu runner; macOS build targets the current Apple Silicon runner. Binaries are unsigned. Back up your existing tasks.json before upgrading.

Task Tracker CLI v1.0.0 Release

This is the initial release of Task Tracker CLI, a simple command-line task management application written in C++.

Installation

1. Download the appropriate binary for your platform from the releases section
2. Or build from source:

   cd Task-Tracker-CLI
   make

Quick Start

# Add a new task
./task-cli add "Implement login feature"

# List all tasks
./task-cli list

# Mark a task as in-progress
./task-cli mark-in-progress 1

# Update a task description
./task-cli update 1 "Implement login feature with OAuth support"

# Mark a task as done
./task-cli mark-done 1

# Delete a task
./task-cli delete 1

Known Issues

• The application doesn't handle special characters in task descriptions properly
