please provide support for gulp-sourcemaps

What are the chances that support for gulp-sourcemaps can be added? I need to have the ability to generate a sourcemap that includes the original files (not the concatenated one).

Maybe I can already do this and I just can't figure it out?

Ok, if you check the latest code in this repo, I've added a 'noconcat' option that does not concat assets, but instead adds them to the stream. It's also been refactored significantly and supports streaming of assets to other plugins like gulp-sourcemaps. I would appreciate it if you would try this out before I release it to npm. Just check out the latest version and npm link it or copy it to your node_modules folder. Thanks!

Thanks for working on this. I am trying to figure out how to use it.

In my project I am piping through useref multiple source HTML files, each of them has its own build:js section. After calling useref.assets, I am getting a single stream with all the JS files from all the build:js sections and I could not find a way to tell from which build:js group they came from. This is needed, so the concatenation step has a destination. Any advice on how to do this?

@nadavsr no there's no way to currently. You would have to try gulp-filter or maybe gulp-if to do something like that.

Has anyone actually been able to use gulp-sourcemaps with gulp-useref? Are there any working examples someone can point to for this?

If I instrument gulp-sourcemaps's init() it only shows it's init'ing the first file when being given in an assets call... this seems like it should be equivalent of the edit above, but it just doesn't work:

I would also be interested to see how you actually implement gulp-sourcemaps with using noconcat while still achieving the same end result. Currently when passing noconcat the files are obviously not concatenated, how does one achieve this afterwards without reaching a high level of complexity?
