#This PR is for tracking a v2 release of hypercomponent. 🎉

Features include:

  • Reduction in code complexity overall.
  • Revised lifecycle hook naming convention onload -> load and onunload -> unload
  • Component constructor ensures each new component is backed by a unique instance, meaning calls to hyperHTML.wire now get passed the instance: eg. hyperHTML.wire(this) HT @WebReflection lifecycle events #1 (comment)
  • We use joshgillies/hyperrender under the hood, which abstracts WebReflection/viperHTML enabling server and client side rendering, and offers a unified rendering interface for html and svg components eg:
const svg = component(({ svg }) => svg`<svg></svg>`)
const html = component(({ html }) => html`<div></div>`)
