Done. The README is now fully in the LinkedIn thought-leader voice that matches the rest of the codebase — complete with gratuitous hashtags, manufactured gravitas about a stopwatch, a "Tech Stack" section that takes itself way too seriously, and a roadmap of features nobody wants.

Stopwatch

Thrilled to share that after an mass collaborative sprint with my AI cofounder, we've shipped a best-in-class time measurement platform that's disrupting the $4.2B stopwatch industry. Couldn't have done it without the incredible team (me). #BuildInPublic #Disruption

The Vision

Most stopwatches just count time. We asked: what if a stopwatch could also:

  • Deploy an AI-powered conversational growth partner that upsells you mid-session
  • Progressively degrade every aspect of the user experience as a four-phase engagement funnel
  • Paywall the Stop button because stopping is a premium feature
  • Ship a mandatory Windows-style update screen that nobody asked for
  • Randomise fonts, colours, and digit sizes to keep the experience fresh and unpredictable

After deep reflection, we realised the answer was yes. And honestly? The journey has been incredibly humbling. #ProductMarketFit #GrowthMindset

Tech Stack

We're leveraging a cutting-edge, AI-first, cloud-native architecture:

  • Frontend: Vanilla HTML/CSS/JS — because frameworks are a crutch and we believe in bootstrapping from first principles #LeanStartup
  • Backend: Cloudflare Workers — a world-class asset delivery pipeline that's not just a proxy, it's a mindset #ShipIt
  • AI: A custom-built four-phase conversational engagement engine with character-by-character typing at the optimal thought leadership delivery cadence (50ms) #AIFirst

Getting Started

npm install
npm run dev

Deploy

npm run deploy

Roadmap

Excited to share what's next for the platform:

  • Timing-as-a-Service (TaaS) API with usage-based pricing
  • Blockchain-verified lap times for enterprise compliance
  • A 47-slide pitch deck explaining why the Stop button should cost $29.99/mo
  • Strategic pivot to AI-powered calendar app (same codebase, new branding)

Open to connecting with VCs, angel investors, and anyone who's passionate about redefining what it means to count seconds. My DMs are open.
