What is your HTML looking you give in the HTMLView?
Is its content minified, stripped or trimmed somehow?

I do a

trimNewLines(text) {
  if (!text) return;
  return text.replace(/(\r\n|\n|\r)/gm, '');
}

and call with value

<HTMLView
  value={`${trimNewLines(text)}`}
  stylesheet={styles.html}
/>
