date support

What are the current plans for supporting date (and time) entry? I've noticed there's a "feature/datepicker" branch - is this still being managed? It seems to lag a bit behind master.

I might consider working on this myself. If so, would the feature/datepicker branch be a good start, or should I start from scratch?

I would also like to know. That branch has been there for a while... I have partially started my own.

Hi @iivvoo and @Simomultimedia!

yeah, that branch was started since we needed a date picker and we liked pickadate, but then some other things came up. Anyway, since we still need it, and you showed interest in it, and I happened to have some time today i pulled the branch into shape.

It only implements the date picker, but it seems to work! No tests done yet though. If you like to test it checkout that branch and look in src/bootstrap-example.html.

This saves the date in ISO8601 format since json schema says so. What are your requirements?

thanks for fixing/implementing this so quickly! It already looks very usable. The datepicker does seem to use a strange translation though (something scandinavian would be my guess - Swedish?)

Your correct @iivvoo, that is Swedish!

..or rather it should be, but it seems to be having some encoding issues. Anyway, the datepicker I'm using, pickadate have support for several translations, you just include the javascript file with the locale you like. Edit: It's probably just a missing <meta charset="utf-8"> in the example file.

no it is not, only the datepicker is implemented since that was what we needed. pickaadate also separates the two so that was whar we did.

I should be pretty straight forward though to basically create a new addon for the time picker from the datepicker directive.
